Whether you are a sending a business or a personal package this Christmas, we all know how expensive it can be and also how long it can take, to get to the other side of the world.

1. The sooner you advise us of your intention to ship at Christmas, the best chance you will have of getting super fast delivery times at great low international rates.
2. Ring us to check the last shipment dates for Christmas as they differ for each destination worldwide. Our last pickup for international delivery on or before Christmas Eve is the 22nd but that does depend on where you are sending to. Typically we can ship long after your regular postal deadlines.
3. Avoid the lengthy post office queues, snarling traffic, lack of parking spaces and the uncertainty of postal charges by opting for a “door to door” service like ours.
4. Get “peace of mind” by opting for a service with full tracking capability. Nothing worse than not knowing where your parcel is and whether it will get there or not.
5. Remember that by sending your parcels with us and if for some reason, we cannot deliver your item, it will be returned to you. 
6. International parcels are often examined and opened by customs at the border of their destination so giving yourself a buffer of a day or two will help preserve those fingernails.
7. Please be aware that you cannot send batteries or liquids abroad. Simply drop us a line to see if the contents of your parcel are on the list of internationally prohibited items.
8. Please pack your parcel with sturdy cardboard and ideally use a twin walled box. If the contents are in any way fragile, make sure you have at least 5mm cushioning on all sides. Secure the parcel using a good tape as opposed to cellophane.
9. If you are sending food items just ring us to ensure they are not restricted for import at the destination country.
10. At The Post Coach we negotiate and buy services in bulk from the large logistics companies so therefore you will find that we are often considerably cheaper than other providers including the postal service. If your parcel is any greater than 1KG you will save considerably.
